This course provides the essential skills required by food handlers, supervisors and managers in the food industry to manage an on-site Food Safety Plan. You may work at a restaurant, hotel/club, cafe, takeaway/fast food outlet, food manufacturer/processor, nursing home or hospital, school canteen, commercial/industrial cafeteria or market. This course may be completed at our training facilities, on-the-job or via project based work.

Participants will learn:

To develop and implement a Food Safety Plan.
To understand legal obligations relating to personal, environmental and food hygiene.
To understand and implement quality control mechanisms in relation to cleaning and maintenance.
To effectively manage receiving and storage of produce.
To design standard operating procedures.
To design and implement HACCP based Food Safety Plans.
