This interactive course is suitable for people who are new to the contact/workplace behaviour officer role. The course will give participants the knowledge and skills to perform effectively in their role. Case studies and role plays will be included.

Participants will learn:

  • About the role of the contact/workplace behaviour officer (including do’s and don’ts).
  • To understand the law, legislation and reporting requirements.
  • To develop high level communication skills.
  • To perform the interview process.
  • To understand bullying and harassment.
  • To receive tips and hints for dealing with stress.
  • To deal with conflict.

Facilitator: Caroline Dean is an experienced consultant with a sociology background who specialises in dealing with workplace conflict issues to create positive cultural change. Her insightful approach leads to practical and positive outcomes for both small and large businesses.
